The Watermark team is looking to hire a full-time Property Maintenance Coordinator in the Indianapolis, Indiana area to manage the implementation of Watermark Maintenance standards by third party property management companies for all Watermark properties. The major objectives of the Property Maintenance Coordinator are to (1) Coordinate maintenance efforts on multiple sites, ensuring consistency in standards and approach to maintenance across all Watermark Properties (2) Conduct hands-on training in the field when necessary; (3) knowledge of property HVAC units, mechanical, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, structural facilities and grounds; (4) monitor all maintenance related activities including capital improvement projects specifically quality and schedule, (5) administrative requirements include collecting property data, forms, progress photos and reporting to Director of Property Maintenance.

The following are minimum pre-requisites for the position of Property Maintenance Coordinator:

  • 3 years' experience in multi-family, new construction and/or renovation
  • Formal technical training and/or equivalent job experience in heating, air conditioning is essential
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • EPA certification required for the handling of refrigerants preferred or ability to get certified
  • Must possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment
  • Working Knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with and communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external professionals.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Exhibit strong attention to details
